Choose an item or sound that will be present in your day to day life. When you see that item or hear it, commit to find 60 seconds to be mindful sometime in the next 30 minutes. During those 60 seconds, practice being as present to your current experience as possible. Focus on the feeling of the breath flowing in and out of your nose if you find yourself needing something to center on. Allow thoughts to come and go without judgement. Mindfulness is rooted in noticing, not judging.
Feel more settled and calm by spending a few minutes focused on your breathing with this 3-minute Mindful Breathing mindfulness meditation created by Stop, Breathe & Think.
